Created Brown T-Shirt – Generation 2 – Small

These T-shirt art objects are screen printed with the familiar laundry care symbol for “Do Not Bleach” on the chest using discharge paste, a fabric safe bleaching agent. By collecting and wearing one of these shirts, people of color advocate for their melanin by wearing the shirt and in turn take a step toward resisting the inferiority of brown skin, no matter the shade. More than a shirt, they become a message against colorism and an opportunity to resist the whitewashing of cultures and ethnic histories.

Do Not Bleach T-Shirt Generation 2 has a lightweight stitched on brand label in the bottom left corner of the shirt. It is 100% cotton and fits true to size.
